ECDL Foundation, in conjunction with ICDL Singapore and ICS Skills, has completed two case studies in these areas. The Singapore case study outlines the case of the Singapore Government (through its National Workforce Development Agency) adopting ICDL as an economic recovery measure. The Irish case study highlights the use of ECDL Foundation programmes by Ireland’s national employment and training authority (FÁS) to both enable unemployed people find work, and to up-skill those currently employed. It also deals with aspects of funding.
